New Piece

This looks like a bunch of swatches and it kind of is. I am making another stencil, similar to the one that I just finished with the magazine cut outs. These are the pictures and the magazine cut outs that I am going to use for each one to make the print.

I want you to look up a few artists for inspiration and write back to me what you think.

Swoon- Street artist that does linoleum prints and stencil paste ups in NYC recently had a show at the MOMA you may recognize her work.  She also has a few YOU TUBE shorts where she talks about her work, her process and her influences.  Check her out.

Also check out: http://www.contemprints.org/ it is the website for contemporary print making center based in NY.  Check out some or the work for inspiration I'd like you to think about pushing color & spacial relationships for your next piece.  :)
